There are over 60,000 CIM members worldwide and being a CIM member not only guarantees you a truly international qualification, which in turn gives you the professional recognition and association that follows your qualification.
In order to foster the idea that all CIM members in the South Asia Region are a regional CIM entity and to promote the sense of belonging together, The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region expects to set up CIM Member Groups in the neighboring countries of the region. These member groups will be encouraged to participate in all CIM activities and promote professional marketing in their countries.
The CIM Member Groups will work closely with the CIM Sri Lanka Region in studying member and professional member development, in networking and fellowship amongst CIM members and in promoting the CIM qualification.
The first CIM Member Group was launched in The Maldives on 15th July 2008.
